What is Autoprompt?

Autoprompt is a professional teleprompter app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It lets you scroll your script smoothly while you present, record, or broadcast, so you can deliver your words confidently without memorising them.

What platforms does Autoprompt run on?

iPhone, iPad and Mac. Pro is a one-off purchase that covers all your Apple devices, so buying it on one unlocks it on the others with Restore Purchases. Pro Plus, which adds the production features, is a yearly subscription rather than a one-off purchase.

Does my audio or script get sent to the internet?

No. Speech recognition processing runs entirely on your device. Your scripts and audio are never uploaded to any server.

What languages is the Autoprompt interface available in?

The interface is translated into 33 languages, including Arabic, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian and Vietnamese. It follows your device language, and you can override it in Settings under Display Language. The language you speak is a separate setting, see the voice-following questions.

Where are my scripts stored?

Scripts are stored locally on your device. You can back them up and sync them across your Apple devices using iCloud if you have iCloud Drive enabled.

What scroll modes are available?

Four. Voice following is the one Autoprompt is built for: it listens and advances the script to match what you are saying. Speed scrolls continuously at a pace you set with a slider. Timer scrolls the whole script top to bottom in an exact duration. Manual Paging does not scroll at all and moves a page at a time when you press a key or a remote button. Pick one from the scroll-mode control in the bottom toolbar.
