• If you use the ScreenMirror functionality to mirror a screen to an external display, then you will be asked to allow screen recording. Screen Recording is the way the app can mirror the selected screen to an external monitor (BeamSplitter rig) and allow horizontal/vertical flipping. No data is actually recorded from the screen and stored. The only useage of screen recording is to mirror the screen to the external monitor (BeamSplitter rig) in real time.
